Dreaming of a flexible career that allows you time to do what you love?
Most massage therapists work less than 25 hours per week. Because the pay is higher and tipping is common, this allows many massage therapists to have what they need most; free time.
How much could you achieve with at least 15 extra hours every week, at whatever time is best for you? If this sounds like a dream come true, this flexible career might be the path for you.
Artists, crafters, and small business owners can be extremely successful selling at craft fairs, online, and even opening their own storefronts after years of consistent selling. It takes a lot of hard work, knowledge, time, and money to survive while growing a business. After all, rent still needs paid, not to mention the business expenses! Most artisans are relegated to a “day job” they don’t love for 40 or more hours per week just to pay the bills. This leaves no time to nurture creativity, let alone run a business.
It only takes 9 months to become a licensed massage therapist in Washington or Oregon with our comprehensive program. LMT’s make an average of $40/hr locally, and therapists are not expected to work full time. Therapists even get to make their own schedule in the majority of jobs! Use this flexible career as a gateway to your dreams!
How does the program work?
We are continuously running classes, starting 4 to 5 groups each year. When you start the program, you will attend 4-hour classes 4 days per week.
After 3 months, you will also join the student clinic where you gain supervised hands-on practice with the public once per week, meeting the state requirement for licensure.
You would also attend one volunteer chair massage day, where we offer free chair massages at different community events.
