Massage therapy is an incredible addition to any kind of medical practice. As massage therapy grows in popularity, it has even become covered under many health insurance plans. Now, more than ever, it is a great tool to have in your belt if you care for others.
Massage works wonderfully when paired with physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, nursing specializations, nutritional health, naturopathy, and so many more. If you want to set yourself up for a medical degree by starting with massage or if you already have this skillset and want to add massage into your healthcare toolbox, the fields have incredible synergy.
How does the program work?
We are continuously running classes, starting 4 to 5 groups each year. When you start the program, you will attend 4-hour classes 4 days per week.
After 3 months, you will also join the student clinic where you gain supervised hands-on practice with the public once per week, meeting the state requirement for licensure.
You would also attend one volunteer chair massage day, where we offer free chair massages at different community events.
