Guide for HS Grads and College Students

Taking a gap year?

Get the credential that can put you through school.

It only takes 9 months to become a licensed massage therapist in Washington or Oregon with our comprehensive program. LMT’s make an average of $40/hr locally, and therapists are not expected to work full time. Therapists even get to make their own schedule in the majority of jobs! Use this flexible career as a gateway to the four-year degree of your dreams!

How does the program work?

We are continuously running classes, starting 4 to 5 groups each year. When you start the program, you will attend 4-hour classes 4 days per week.

After 3 months, you will also join the student clinic where you gain supervised hands-on practice with the public once per week, meeting the state requirement for licensure.

You would also attend one volunteer chair massage day, where we offer free chair massages at different community events.

Take a different pathway to professionalism.

A four-year degree is more expensive and time-consuming than ever. For those who want to enter the workforce directly and still have a career they love, massage therapy is a great option.

In less than a year, you can enter an increasingly growing field as a professional rather than starting at an entry-level.

Working as an independent contractor or sole proprietor is common and can be even more lucrative. Our program helps with job assistance before and after graduation.
